Spotlight Guidelines

Spotlight Writing Guidelines

Please adhere to the guidelines below for all spotlight submissions.

Word Count

Basic Spotlight bios can be up to 120 words long.
Premium Spotlight bios can be up to 200 words long.
Things to consider adding if you choose are your name, location, favorite cosplay, and favorite thing about cosplaying, however you may touch on whatever topic you so choose within the set word count for your particular spotlight.

"How do I know if I have a basic spotlight or premium spotlight?"
If you received your spotlight via a giveaway, you likely have a basic spotlight which means you'll be sharing a page with another spotlight contributor.

Premium Spotlights can only be purchased for $10 on our website and with such you will receive a full page dedicated to your spotlight.
Basic spotlights can also be purchased for $5, so if you are unsure which you purchased, please review your email invoice, or reach out to ToriLynn.

Content Guidelines

All submissions should adhere to a PG13 rating, meaning content should be appropriate for a general audience, without explicit language or themes.

Please submit your spotlight content via Google Docs. Once your first draft is ready, add LightsCameraCos@gmail.com AND AngelRose.Entertainer@gmail.com as an editor so I can review and provide feedback directly through Google Docs. This process will allow for easy collaboration and timely suggestions. (If you require another method of delivery, please let me know.)

Promotional Expectations

We encourage you to share that you will be highlighted on Lights, Camera, Cosplay in advance of the publication. Additionally, once the article and first edition are published, please share it with your followers and on your social media channels to help spread the word.

Contract Signing

A signed contract will be required upon agreement to be a spotlighted contributor. By signing the contract you will be accepting the spot as a cosplayer spotlight. Prior to this, the spot will not be held for you in the instance of lack of communication or missing of further deadlines.
